Ayam Goreng Lauk Soto Starlight

Fried Chicken with Soto Gravy


2 tbsp Soto Starlight paste

1 Chicken

2 Red Onion

2 pcs Kaffir lime leaves, torn

2 pcs Lemongrass, bruised

2 pcs Daun Salam (Indonesia Bay Leaves)

1 large Lime

1/2 cup local parsley



  1. Marinate chicken with 1 tbsp Soto Starlight paste 10 to 15 mins

  2. Fry chicken till golden brown and drain oil from pan.

  3. Stir fry onion, Kaffir lime leaves, Lemongrass, Daun Salam

  4. Add 1 tbsp of Soto Starlight paste and 1/2 cup water, stir well till combine

  5. Add fried chicken back into the pan, stir well.

  6. Squeeze lime and stir again.

  7. Garnish it with 1/2 cup local parsley and serve.
